"I connect people and ideas to transform communities."

I’m one of the co-founders of Change for Ecuador, and I was the one who first envisioned this project. My mission is to bring international volunteers together with Ecuadorian communities to generate long-lasting, positive impact.

As Public Relations Manager, I build and nurture strong relationships with strategic partners, universities, media outlets, and organizations—both in Ecuador and abroad. I also lead logistics coordination to ensure our volunteer programs are smooth, safe, and enriching for all participants.

EDUARDO VALAREZO RAMIREZ
Co-founder, Public Relations & Logistics Coordinator
"I believe in social justice and the power of responsible volunteering."

As a lawyer and co-founder of Change for Ecuador, I ensure that everything we do is grounded in transparency, legality, and ethical responsibility.

I help draft agreements, ensure compliance with Ecuadorian regulations, and manage all legal aspects of the foundation. My goal is to protect both volunteers and local communities, and to help build sustainable structures that allow for long-term positive change.

FABRICIO CORRAL CUSTODE
Co-founder & Legal Advisor
"I don't just invite volunteers to help — I invite them to connect, learn, and grow alongside the people of Ecuador."

I'm a cyclist and social entrepreneur who co-founded Change for Ecuador after traveling across the country by bike. Those journeys opened my eyes to two things: Ecuador's beauty and potential, and the deep needs of its communities.

Through this project, I connect international volunteers with meaningful causes in Ecuador. I handle logistics to make sure each experience is safe, well-coordinated, and impactful for both visitors and local communities.

ANDRÉS TUFIÑO
Co-founder & Logistics Coordinator
NICOLAS CAMACHO
Co-founder & Digital Communications
"I connect cultures through stories that inspire."

As a co-founder and Community Manager of Change for Ecuador, I manage the digital communication strategy that helps us reach volunteers around the world.

I create authentic content, manage our social platforms, and ensure that our voice reflects the mission of the project. My work fosters genuine connections between Ecuadorian communities and individuals eager to make a positive impact.

Empower Communities

We believe change starts with small actions, which is why we connect young volunteers from U.S. universities with vulnerable communities in Ecuador. Our program offers a complete volunteer experience, from helping in rural schools and community clinics to exploring Ecuador's rich culture and biodiversity with visits to places like Mindo, Baños, and the Middle of the World.

Volunteering with us is not just an opportunity to serve, it’s a life-changing experience. Here, young people don’t just teach, heal, or support, they also learn. They learn about life, about solidarity, and about themselves.

Change for Ecuador provides accommodation, meals, airport transportation, and most importantly, a family. Because beyond the work, what we truly want is for every volunteer to feel part of this land and its people.

If you’re someone who wants to make a difference, grow as a person, and live something truly unique, we invite you to join us. Together, we can build a fairer, more supportive, and opportunity-filled Ecuador for everyone.

Thank you.
